A delicate egg noodle pasta filled with a delicious mixture of select cheeses and spices. Tortellini are ring-shaped pasta, stuffed with a mix of meat, spinach or cheese. Tortellini is usually served in broth, either of beef, chicken, or both.
Stove Top: Bring (2) quarts of water to a boil. Place desired amount of frozen tortellini in vigorously boiling water (salted to taste). Lower temperature to a slow rolling boil and stir gently with a spoon. Boil for 3 to 5 minutes or to desired tenderness. Drain and serve with your favorite sauce. One 1 oz. package = approximately 4 individual servings.
